£710.40. That is how much I lost this past week: £710.40.
They came in droves. First by the dozens. Then by the hundreds. And before I could react, an entire week’s stock was reduced to scrap by Monday.
I was grateful for the business. The extra income was unprecedented and I was sure the new faces would become loyal customers, but it quickly left me dry, desperately waiting for the next load.
