This image was taken in a remote part of Okinawa, Japan. Having travelled through the busy mega-cities of Japan previously, the sleepy coastal towns of Okinawa were vastly different to what I was used to, offering a sort of edge-of-the-world atmosphere. The contrast of a the dark blue ocean and the cosy interior of our beach cabin appeared both beautiful and unsettling, and so I took this photograph.
