Bruce Silverstein Gallery presents a collection of black and white photography by Louis Draper, a photographer known for capturing the essence of ordinary people on the streets of New York and around the United States, with a particular focus on African-American subjects, children, and musicians. Although his work didn’t receive much attention while he was alive, his thoughtful images are now getting their due recognition. The exhibit of his work, True Grace, is on view at Bruce Silverstein Gallery until February 22.
