The new Geekoto Light Ring is here to end your lighting woes. Whether it’s trying for that perfect selfie or photographing a model in your studio, the Geekoto Light Ring will illuminate your craft. For those still waiting in a shadow of doubt, consider the flash on your phone or camera. While many a dark photo benefits from that surge of light, it’s much more useful being able to control not only the timing of the flash, but also its intensity and color profile. All this power and more is available with the Geekoto Light Ring.

Let’s unpack some of the essentials, shall we? To ensure consistent lighting all around, the Geekoto Light Ring is principally comprised of 576 LED lamp beads evenly spaced around the ring’s 56-inch circumference Thanks to the new circuit board, you can adjust the color temperature and brightness with two knobs rather than bother with swapping out the filter set. The colors are just fantastic. The range spans from a warm 3200K glow to a wintery 5600K cool blue, with a dimming range spanning from 1 to 100 percent. The head even rotates 180 degrees, providing you with the ultimate choose-your-own adventure experience in personal lighting.

Set-up and take-down couldn’t be easier. The stand extends from 19 inches to 73.6 inches; combine that with the 360 degree swivel head and you’re ensured to get the right lighting on any subject or surface. Outside the studio, don’t worry about having to plug it in. The Geekoto Light Ring works just as well with batteries. Outside the realm of traditional cameras, you’ll be glad to know that it accommodates mobile photography and photo holder included at the base of the ring. Your selfies have never been more radiant. When not in use, the ring and stand fit nice and snugly inside the slim-profile carry bag.

All in all, if you’re looking to step up the quality of lighting in your video and photography projects, you can’t go wrong with the The Geekoto Light Ring. Your Instagram followers will thank you.
