If walls could talk, they would tell endless stories. Private conversations, whispers in the night. They could betray the deepest of secrets. But what of the stars?
Monuments of fame, dirtied by pedestrians’ boots. They saw thousands of people each day – tourists, workers, mothers. Did the stars remember their stories? The screaming toddler, the enamored couple?
Or did the days blur, each person nearly identical to the next? With so many people walking by, who would stand out, worthy of being remembered?
