MUSÉE 29 – EVOLUTION

Evolution explores the concepts of progress, transformation, growth, and advancement in an age when images are taking a dramatic shift in the role they play in our lives.

Peter Arnell: Photographs 1984-2014 at Milk Gallery

Peter Arnell has clearly been a photographer for a while, at least since 1985. The exhibition at the Milk gallery was B&W pictures of New York - skylines, bridges, the bustling city streets, well shot, using different types of cameras. Enjoyable, and very New York.  Researching Arnell comes up with such a wild assortment of professions that it was hard know which Peter Arnell was the one we were looking for. The answer was: all of them. Arnell has worn many different hats over the years, but, as the title of the show suggests, he seems to have had time to take plenty of pictures.
