Jordan Wolfson seems to be born a little too late. His collage work is very reminiscent of pop art, when pop art was still a movement. I suppose it could be post modern pop art combined with scrapbooking . That is not to say the work is bad, it's actually quite good. As my editor-in-chief said as I was writing the piece; "If it's over then why has he got a show?" Fair point. The scrapbook portraits and advertisements are pasted with written words invoking sex and death , and those are certainly timeless themes.
