Michael Hoppen Gallery - Sohei Nishino

Sohei Nishino is inspired by 18th-century Japanese mapmaker, Ino Tadataka to create large urban landscape prints using photography, collage, cartography, and psychogeography. Lately, Nishino traveled to more challenging environments such as Mount Everest, and the sea runs between northern Japan and eastern Russia to make his maps. The exhibition is now online on Michael Hoppen Gallery’s website.
