About the Project: The Tragic Clown Complex

The Tragic Clown Complex serves as a metaphor for the paradoxical dance between comedy and tragedy within the mind. Much like the vibrant mask of the painted clown, my photographs playfully navigate the thin line between laughter and tears. Through humor I confront the complexities of mental health, exploring the absurdity of the human experience. The act of capturing these comedic moments is an act of reclaiming agency over the narrative, turning pain into punchlines and vulnerability into a source of strength.
