Evelyn Bencicova’s Cure exhibition springs from her personal experience of growing up in post-Soviet Slovakia. The show contains two recent series: Alice, and Artificial Tears.

MAST Foundation - UNIFORM INTO THE WORK / OUT OF THE WORK

MAST Foundation is presenting a group exhibition dedicated to work uniforms with over 600 photos by 44 international photographers and a solo exhibition of hundreds of portraits of art world insiders by Walead Beshty. There are video interviews with Roland Fischer, Marianne Mueller, Stephen Waddell, Paola Agosti, Walead Beshty, Timm Rautert, and Oliver Sieber from the show.

The 53 Berenice Abbott prints in this exhibition come from the collection of a woman named Jo Brown who was an artist and illustrator in New York City for many years. She met Abbott when she was working at the New York Public library in the 1930s.
