I was in NYC, waiting for my taco, when I saw a couple of two girls. They were looking at each other and I could felt their love.. So I went to talk to them, and asked if I could shoot them. They said yes. Two days later, they invited me to their home.

Cathyia was the very first person I didn't know who I asked if I could come and photograph her at her house. The very first person in a long series that I intend to continue throughout my life.

Very often, my friends ask me to photograph them for very special occasions. They asked me to photograph them on the day of their farewell, in their loving union. It was the last day of their relationship.

Ever since I've had a camera in my hands, I've been taking pictures of my family. It holds the most important place in my life. Here I was at my cousin's house, and start taking pictures of her and her friends.

I'm a French-Uruguayan photographer, living in Paris.

I like to think that I photograph beauty. I find beauty in authenticity ; of an emotion, an instant, the other, in what is most real.

I studied sociology and also worked as a reporter. It's therefore really second nature for me to compose with what is already present and existent. It’s in reality that I find inspiration. Authenticity is what conducts my life and my work.

I very strongly think that the omnipresence of whiteness, youth, heterosexuality, the cis man, thinness, wealth, etc. in the media is a huge problem. It is a completely unequal vision of the human race. And I precisely think that this unequal representation is largely responsible for racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, fatphobia until the rejection of old age.

It is very important for me to do everything to continue to deconstruct this hegemony, and I will not stop invoking all these fights until they are won.
