The 2019 MFA Summer Show

The 2019 MFA Summer Show “Aesthetically Functional Only” is curated by Edsel Williams. It is a yearly off campus exhibition by students at Columbia University’s School of the Arts M.F.A. program, both first and second year students. The Summer Show is initiated and created by students in the MFA Visual Arts Program. The goal of the show is to provide opportunities for students to work together organizing a group exhibition in New York City, as a collaborative career development exercise. The Summer Show is an important tradition within the MFA Visual Arts program.
