JR: Chronicles opens Friday, October 4th, 2019 at the Brooklyn Museum. A preview party took place on October 2nd. Among the many antendees were Chris Rock, Dustin Yellin, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Katie Holmes.

JR: Chronicles is the first major exhibition in North America of works by the French-born artist. Working at the intersections of photography, social engagement, and street art, JR collaborates with communities by taking individual portraits, reproducing them at a monumental scale, and wheat pasting them—sometimes illegally—in nearby public spaces.

JR is featured in Issue 22: IMPACT. Read his interview here. A review of the exhibition is to come, stay tuned!
