Brooklyn Film Camera's 1st Birthday at the Bushwick Community Darkroom
By Riley Ryan-Wood
Celebration was in order this past Thursday as Brooklyn Film Camera turned one year old. The night's festivities included a photo booth, live projections, a raffle and "funky vinyl vibes" from one DJ Cuttlefish Appeldorn. The quirky young shop (or "project") was founded by former employees and technicians of the Impossible Project, the renowned company responsible for giving Polaroid film and cameras a second life.
You won't find the Brooklyn Film Camera in any brick and mortar domicile though -- pop by the Brooklyn Flea any Saturday or Sunday for a peak at their coveted cameras.
