For weeks, Susan had been dreading the class field trip to the aquarium. She had very few friends in school and didn’t wish to feel this issue exacerbated in public.

But once there, Susan felt nothing but joy. She watched an employee play with a baby octopus. It climbed over his fingers as he smiled. It was like they were friends without words.

At that moment, Susan knew what she wanted to do when she grew up. Some may say that eight years old is too early to realize your purpose, but this Future Marine Biologist would prove them wrong.
