Marc Balet has been a creative director and marketer in the fashion industry for decades. After graduating from Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in Architecture he went on to win the prestigious Prix de Rome in Architecture and was awarded a one man show at the Whitney Museum of Art entitled Dreamhousing. 

Upon returning to the US he was hired by Andy Warhol to art direct Interview Magazine and the MTV show Andy Warhol’s 15 Minutes.

Frank Gehry’s influence upon our architectural landscape is undeniable.

His signature designs and computer-generated facades were once improbable to imagine and impossible to build.

I wondered, as a visual commentator and architectural dreamer, what his presence might look like on a much broader scale, enlivening the mundane panorama of suburbia.
