MUSÉE 29 – EVOLUTION

Evolution explores the concepts of progress, transformation, growth, and advancement in an age when images are taking a dramatic shift in the role they play in our lives.

Looking Back - The 8th White Columns Annual

The White Columns' 8th Annual year end event, this year entitled “Looking Back”, traces artists we saw in New York last year, and in year previous. Each year White Columns invites a figure from the New York art world to organize a show. This year Pati Hertling, an independent curator, set up a show that was an eclectic mix of well known and more obscure artists working all over the artistic spectrum. The exhibition aimed to “establish a new narrative conversation” through the “re-contextualization of artworks encountered in other circumstances”. The event opened this past Wednesday and will remain on show until the 22nd of February. Text by John Hutt
