Five years ago, I found ‘Dro by the garbage, outside of my work. I was finishing up the night shift, when I heard the little asshole mewwing away. He was matted and disgusting, but couldn’t have been more than a few months old.
I didn’t like it, but I knew what I had to do. I’ve been allergic to cats all my life, but I wasn’t gonna leave the bugger like that. I’m not cruel.
It’s been a tough five years. ‘Dro’s got an attitude problem. But, you know what? That’s my favorite thing about him. He’s like me: tough and unafraid to pounce.
