Our neighbors are on vacation. And I thank God for that. I haven’t missed their honking cars and daily complaints about trees from our yard shedding leaves into their yard. Finally, I’ve experienced peace and quiet in the neighborhood.

The assholes won’t be back until Saturday. And, I’ve always been a bit of a rebel, which is how I found myself skinny dipping in their pool in the middle of the day on a Thursday. You can’t imagine how nice pool water feels when you know it isn’t yours.

But then, suddenly, I hear a car pull in the drive.
