There were a lot more than good books, magazines, and publications at NY Art Book Fair at MoMA PS1 in Long Island City, NYC.

Most people and collectors do not realize that above the neat stacks of books on the tables, there is quite an incredible selection of limited editions of posters, prints, photographs, and even paintings.

The price point on them is pretty affordable, extremely collectable, and in some instances they have the special pricing running only during the fair duration. For example, there was a publication that was selling 11x17 signed prints of renowned photographer Jeff Mermelstein for only $100.00.

During the fair you can also purchase the limited edition of photographic prints, along with the books. Yossi Milo Gallery, Gagossian, David Zwirner, Marianne Goodman, Petzel, Printed Matter, Harper Books, Mathew Marks, and many more other galleries and publications were not only selling books, but also art on the wall for sale, elevating the atmosphere of the Book Fair into a ‘’Gallery Space‘’ feel.

Last year, I myself found and purchased a very well printed limited edition of 6 photographs of Todd Hido’s series ‘’Haunted Houses ‘’ in a set for $100.00.  You might find something that is collectable and worth looking at over time.
