In 1978, Clasen worked with Leo Burnett Worldwide on their Marlboro campaign. He is known for his action-based photography that artistically capture natural settings and people who traverse them. His projects explore themes including travel, abstracted scenery, outdoor fashion, and portraiture. Clasen is currently semi-retired, but is still committed to special assignments that support the fine arts community and continues to take pictures of the Great American West.
