The Pile

Having a personal style is a messy business. Many days it feels like there are more articles of clothing on my floor than in the closet. There’s a chair in my room that usually holds all the clothes I have tried on and not put away, as well as the clothing I think I can wear at least one more time before it’s washed.
Oftentimes models borrow clothes for our shoots, and those clothes add to the pile. Sometimes I stack something miscellaneous on the chair, like a book, a lens, or a prop flower, and then I’ll lose it for weeks.
Today the clothes, and shoes, and books fell over. And now it’s time to clean.
