I have always been intrigued by the drama which quietly unfolds around us in our daily lives. It is exciting to walk the street not knowing what unexpected encounter awaits you just around the bend. In this case, It was a cold February morning. I was exploring one of the numerous alleys of the Old Delhi when I came across this scene of a man sleeping on a hand push cart and his horse standing next to him. I thought it was an interesting tender moment to see the horse standing guard to his master. The horse was standing motionless almost touching the sleeping man, it showed a beautiful connection between the two. I quickly composed and made the photograph.
