If you could read your own obituary, would you? What would it say? For many years artist Adam McEwen has been imagining and creating obituaries of public figures and stars while they are still very much alive. The latest installment of this series, which features Greta Gerwig, Dolly Parton, Marc Almond and more, showed at the Gagosian in London from January 26th to March 18th.
The Gagosian in Beverly Hills recently unveiled a fresh exhibition by Urs Fischer, showcasing contemporary abstractions overlaid on photographs of Los Angeles that conjure up the metaphorical concept of urban layers.
German photographer Andreas Gursky is famously known for his monumental digitally manipulated photographs that bring to light consumer culture and the busyness of contemporary life through colorful, action-packed, mesmerizing images. Andreas Gursky’s show will be exhibited at the Gagosian gallery in New York City from May 5 to June 18, 2022, in an in-person show at 541 West 24TH Street.
