MUSÉE 29 – EVOLUTION

Evolution explores the concepts of progress, transformation, growth, and advancement in an age when images are taking a dramatic shift in the role they play in our lives.

Mike Magers: Osaka

I found when I had the time to shoot on the street, I kept coming back to this idea of distance. Not so much a sense of loneliness as a traveler or anything like that, more a strong perception of how closed a society Japan can be, and how much of a stranger I was. That theme really pervaded a lot of what I shot. Osaka3
