Thomas Ruff's latest work is shown at the David Zwirner Gallery on West 19th Street in Chelsea. Two series are in the exhibition. The first: photograms, makes its world debut, and depicts abstract shapes, lines, and forms that were made using a custom built software.

In the second, ma.r.s., Ruff has taken images taken aboard NASA aircrafts which depict close-up forms on planets. Ruff has taken these images, digitally altered them and added color, and eventually turned them into 3-D chromogenic prints. The gallery provides 3-D glasses so viewers can get the full affect. If you're looking for a 3-D experience that does not cost you 15 dollars, check out Ruff's large and beautiful photographs on display through April 27th.
