Mother's Milk at Subject Gallery

Subject_ is an international gallery that promotes and sells work by emerging artists through an online platform and rotating pop up shows. Founded in 2015 by two young and dynamic South American entrepreneurs Juana Domenzain and Maria Luisa Mendoza, Subject_ aims organize pop-up shows around the world. Through a selection of talented national and international artists, the gallery's focus is to build an intimate bridge between the emerging art world and potential buyers.

Subject_ also aims to develop the idea of art as a living experience through carefully curated and implemented exhibitions that create a complete immersion in the work and the world of the artist.

On May 28 the official New York launch party of the project gathered an intimate and selected group of international collectors and art aficionados.

About Viky Garcia Born in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, in 1980. She studied photography at IDEP and Gris Art in Barcelona, at the International Center of Photography in New York. She received an MA in Art Therapy at ISPA. As a photographer she worked at the newspaper El Correo Gallego in Santiago de Compostela. Her work has been included in festivals and has been exhibited internationally. She currently lives and works in Brooklyn.
