Paris Photo—the largest international photography fair— closes tonight, November 13, after returning to the Grand Palais Éphémère for its 25th anniversary on November 10, 2022. Here’s an overview:

The full program at Paris Photo 2022 includes a variety of group and solo shows from some of the world’s most admired and forward-thinking photographers. For instance, Rosalind Fox Solomon is exhibiting some of her earliest work from the 1970’s.

Among the group shows on view, Elles x Paris Photo presents The Path, a show curated by Federica Chiocchetti that promotes the role and visibility of women in photography through the exhibition of works from seventy-seven female-identifying photographers.

Magnum Photos is exhibiting work from Martin Parr and Henri Cartier-Bresson, among others.

The Platform, a four-day event space, hosts conversations and performances regarding the vanguard of photography and artistic culture and practices. From lectures to Q&A’s with photographers, visitors have a variety of events to choose from whether they hope for entertainment or enlightenment in regards to the photographic medium.

Tickets to Paris Photo can be procured through the photo fair’s website. For those unable to attend Paris Photo in person, an online viewing room is available for their consideration and provides art and photography lovers with the opportunity to discover emerging artists, acquire books and prints, and attend events from the comfort of their homes.
