My work explores how the spaces of queer interactions have changed as a result of a shifting Western consciousness and the role of technology and capitalism within our desires. Through video, sound, photography, and alternative analog technologies, I explore themes such as fantasy, fetish, longing, and nostalgia. I’m interested in questioning the loss of corporeal anticipation within contemporary queer culture as a consequence of the homogenization of interaction through online dating and hookup practices. My current work seeks out where this anticipation still exists.
