The Art of Protest’ event will further highlight the other pandemic infecting the United States’ DNA: systemic racism and police brutality. Why was this show important to you?

Setfree Richardson: This show was important to me because I wanted to showcase how important the art of photography is in the present day and in history. I think that showing these images and hearing from the photographer's rst hand about their craft and why it was important for them to take these images needed to be heard and seen

Are there any signicant works or artists in this show that you feel intrinsically connected with and why?

S. R: There are so many images to call out just a few. I really like the fact that Lenny S and Young Guru who is known from the music industry for working with Jay Z and Roc Nation took time out of their busy lives to go out to the protest on both coasts east and west to capture these images that are now a part of our history.

Where do you see the future of the art market in the near future with remote technologies being implemented in the gallery model?

S. R: I think we are just at the starting point of technology and art. I think VR & AI is about to play a big role in the art world and the way art galleries show art.
