Perception and representation are keys to how we understand each other as humans, and even more importantly, how we perceive ourselves and in channeling the changes of narrative that we had been told and been telling others around. My images are re-examination of my present and my grasp upon my reality; a renewed imaging of my current reality, and a reflection of the community around me. I am constantly redefining the relationship between me, myself, and my surroundings. Perhaps, unsurprisingly, these photos allude memories of home, childhood, and in all its layers. My collection of work comes from my impetus of understanding my life and surroundings.
