Triggered: Sophie Wedgwood
During the summer months in Cuba it can be too hot to leave the house. From my apartment window I began to imagine the lives of the tourists and locals passing by. Exploring these ideas of personal and perceived isolation I began photographing prosaic street scenes. The distortions of glass and high camera angles creating a sense of distance, surveillance and unease. This series will be released in book form in conjunction with Magnum photos in the coming months.
