Summer time in New York City, is often boiling, the day I made this photo was no exception. When it gets hot in New York, you’ll start seeing people do anything to stay cool, and the easiest way to do that, is to wear less clothes. A popular sight is seeing people come out and walk around in what essentially is their pajamas. The moment I saw the man coming down the street, I felt a familiarity with him, I felt a connection that drew me to his attempts to stay cool, and I waited for him to emerge from the shadows and into the light. Then I made my picture.
