Photographic Alphabet: G is for David Graham
I have been unable to stop searching around the United States for the odd, unusual and striking since I first turned to color photography in 1979. I have continued on this quest to find out how Americans express themselves through their environments, whether they are by the side of the road, in the backyard or even in the bathroom. The result is a series of photographs which delve into the complex weave of image, symbol and reality that we see as America at its finest. From coast to coast, I have put together what I hope is an engaging and joyous collection of photographs that show what it means to be an American.
