On National Airborne Day, we're featuring the work of our Issue 20, Motion's spotlight photographer Jeffrey Milstein.

Photographer, architect, and pilot, Jeffrey Milstein has had a love for airplanes since childhood. After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, Milstein used his passion for flying to inspire his art. Milstein is known for his aerial shots, taken while flying directly above cities and various landscapes, as well as his photographs of aircrafts mid-flight, perpendicular to the frame. His work has been featured in publications such as the New York Times, Harper’s Magazine, Time Magazine, Esquire, European Photography, and the Los Angeles Times. Milstein is represented in the USA by Benrubi gallery in New York City and Kopeikin Gallery in Los Angeles.
