Weekend Portfolio: Raziye Koksal Kartal
Raziye Koksal Kartal was born in Turkey in 1984. She graduated from pharmacy and second university in sociology. 2011 in AFAD (Adana Photograph Amateur Association) completed basic photo education and then advanced education class . After advanced course attented to Conceptual Workshop for a year. She served as a board member of AFAD for two years. During this time she was the publishing editor of AFAD Sunu Photography Magazine. In the 2016 takes place on the selector board of FIAP Black and White Print Biennial
The body of work shown is "Being at Home". The concept is accepted as a reflection of the multifaceted relation of people to the places they live in. From the different meanings of house, "belonging, remembered and missed place" is taken as basis. It is not so wrong to describe the house as the universe of the person.
