Art Out: Private Screening of The Times of Bill Cunningham hosted by Louis Rose

Sunday, November 11th, The Rose Group hosted a private screening of Mark Bozek’s documentary, The Times of Bill Cunningham. The film was introduced by Louis Rose & director Mark Bozek and the evening’s co-hosts were Alexandra Lind Rose, Amy Fine Collins, Cristina Cuomo and Elizabeth Callender.
The screening is part of the 583 Park Avenue film series hosted by The Rose Group in their 1923 landmark property, located in the heart of the Upper East Side in Manhattan; 583 Park Avenue film series will showcase movies across several genres, hosted by a rotating cast of figures including neighbors, friends and family from a variety of fields and backgrounds.
Attended guests included designers Lisa Perry, Anna Sui, and Libertine’s Cindy Greene, Maria Cornejo and Victoria Barlett, as well as neighbours and Rose’s family friends such as Peter & Jamee Gregory, Ari & Coco Kopelman, Edwin Schlossberg & Caroline Kennedy, Isabel Rattazzi, Yaz Hernandez, Princess Firyal of Jordan and Blaine Trump. Also in attendance were philanthropist Beth DeWoody & photographer Firooz Zahedi, perfumer Frederic Malle, director Douglas Keeve & Francesca Sorrenti, architects Fernando Romero & Kulapat Yantrasast, Lorenzo Martone, Richard & Marcia Mishaan.
ABOUT 583 PARK AVENUE
Located on Park Avenue and 63rd Street, 583 Park Avenue was designed by renowned firm Delano & Aldrich in 1923 and originally used as Third Church of Christ Scientist. Meticulously restored by The Rose Group in 2006, the space features original fixtures, such as the 2500 lb chandelier and hand-blown Dutch glass window panes. 583 Park Avenue is deeply ingrained in the cultural fabric of the neighborhood, with the Colony Club & Knickerbocker Club around the corner, marking it the cultural epicenter of the Upper East Side. ABOUT LOUIS ROSE
Chairman of The Rose Group since 2004, Louis Rose is committed to the restoration and preservation of historic venues, outstanding cuisine, and exceptional service. Since the beginning of his career in hospitality, Louis has worked on projects such as the opening of Cipriani Wall Street in 1997, as well as discovering Cipriani 42nd Street in 1998. Alongside his father, he also worked on the redevelopment The Rainbow Room into a high-end catering and events facility. Louis and his wife Alexandra Lind Rose were both born and raised on the Upper East Side, where they still reside with their daughter. Before graduating from Wittenberg University, Rose attended Allen Stevenson School in Manhattan and The Kent School in Connecticut
