Women Crush Wednesday: Yuri Ozaki
Project “Winter Quartet” by Yuri Ozaki
Interview by Xinxin Zhang
When the snow started falling, air has cleared and the color of the world is fading gradually. Yuri Ozaki is fascinated with winter. Whatever happened, the winter comes quietly and the world is going to sleep. We still keep awake for continuing to live our daily life same as usual even when winter is not only gentle but also tough. As if winter absorbs every sorrow when I was standing alone in a white world. For Yuri, the world we live in is precious and scared. The beauty does not last forever.
Sound of migrant birds, squeaky footsteps on the snow, the quiet wave, wind, snow falling from the sky is carving rhythm with them.
