"What is Photography?" is an ongoing portrait and interview series created by Cory Rice and John Harris. Over the course of the summer Cory and John gathered some of the brightest lights in the photography community - editors, curators, technicians, academics and photographers - for portrait sessions and to ask them the deceptively simple question, what is photography? The portraits are paired with the diverse set of responses and provide an insight into how the photographic community feels about the medium at this pivotal time in its history.
