Rose Hartman - The Infamous Rose Hartman
Since the late 1970’s, Hartman has been documenting cultural icons at exhibition openings, soirees, clubs, and on city streets. Intimate shots of Mapplethorpe muse David Croland and Margaux Hemingway entering the iconic Studio 54, Fred Hughes and Elsa Peretti at the Marlborough Gallery, and Bianca Jagger astride a white horse on her 30th birthday populate the artist’s extensive oeuvre and are featured among the 21 limited edition photographs on view at Edelman Arts through December.
