For the first time all eighty- three images in the series Less Américains by Mishka Henner will be exhibited at Silverstein/20 in their entirety.

Heavily influenced by Robert Rauchenburg and his erasure of William de Kooning’s drawings. Henner, who is well known for his use of digital tools, took the eighty-three images from Robert Francis’ book The Americans and brought them into the contemporary era. He digitally erased much of the content including faces and landscapes, leaving clean white blank spaces.
