Artist Statement:
The series ‘Unspoiled’  was created in Big Island, Hawaii, a mystical and spiritual place with all of its beauty, paradoxes and contrasts. There is something timeless about this place, serenity, detachment and a notion of belonging to a broader cultural and historical narrative. This is a short exploration of the complex human connection to nature and cultural heritage and how the sense of a place is inherent in our identity.
