350 plus guests attended The International Center of Photography's Sixth Annual Spotlights Luncheon on Tuesday November 1, which celebrates the contribution of women in film and photography. This year, ICP honored photographer/ filmmaker, Laurie Simmons, whose work includes, but not limited to, Tiny Furniture and My Art.  Guests included, Molly Ringwald (actress/author), Richard Armstrong (director, Guggenheim museum), Stefano Tonchi (editor, W Magazine), and Candice Bergen (actress).

"ICP Executive Director, Mark Lubell opened the event, then ICP Spotlights honoree, Laurie Simmons, took the stage with Molly Ringwald, discussing her accomplishments and career.Candice Bergen then came up to talk about Mary Ellen Mark and the launch of an ICP scholarship in her name that took place earlier this year."

By the end of the afternoon, the luncheon raised $300,000 for ICP programs and $52,000 raised by The Mary Ellen Mark Scholarship Fund, which included a donation of $10,000 from Candice Bergen.
