Libra (Sep 23 - Oct 22)
Libra: This month, Libra, a slew of personal planets slip into your sign, your ruler, Venus, included, and this is a month of coming out, in a way, of showing yourself bright, clear, steady, and unapologetic. There’s still a dense focus on your house of unconsciousness, on behind the scenes energy in your life, yet after the Full Moon of the 14thand into October, the energy really turns into blunt supportiveness for your true, unapologetic self, unmincing and assured, going with your gut. Yet on the 14ththere is a tricky Full Moon to get through; it’ll occur in a house for you that has to do with personal crisis, daily habits, the work grind, as well as your mental and physical health, with the Moon cresting there aligned with Neptune, a planet inherently opposed yet deeply connected in a natural way to this house. The Moon and Neptune together is an incredibly romantic, off the ground, illusory, deep-feeling Moon, of real charity and spiritual growth. Having it in this house can actually quite literally detach your mind from your body; you might have spiritual experiences of a sort, or feel strangely above or observant of your life and routines. There’s a feeling of needing to ground yourself and ritualize this month, yet everything feels unreal. You’ll likely have some deeply poignant experiences that are hard to define, that affect you unreasonably, it would seem, but are happening to gently open your mind and heart, and allow you to see a bigger picture than you’ve been seeing. The Moon/Neptune combination is opposed to Mars, in the difficult position of being in your house of unconsciousness, suggesting there’s some inner anger, resentment, or hidden drive in you that would like outlet, that needs daily outlet, perhaps that’s sexual in nature, too. Anyway it’s in a repressed position for September, and the outlet isn’t so smooth here, more frustrating, as Neptune and Mars are so incongruous. Mars desires blunt physical satisfaction, action, and visible results; Neptune is the ultimate dissolving, confusing, ethereal planet. So you’re stuck between desiring physical satisfaction, physical immersion in life, and hardly even feeling very whole in your body. And to top it all off, Jupiter is pulling the energy of this opposition into a T-square, from your house of the mind, suggesting that the key here is mental composition and strength. Yet Jupiter can play on your fears as well. To be honest it’s an anxious Full Moon but incredibly illuminating if you suspend your desire to define, at the moment, and just go with it. You might get very drawn to someone sexually at this time, too, yet the time of consummation is not right. Finally, we have a New Moon in your own sign of Libra at month’s end that is aloof, stand-alone, and so wonderfully energizing for you. On the 28ththe New Moon will be at 5 degrees Libra, and so most deeply affecting those with a rising sign in early Libra. Certainly by month’s end you’ll be grabbing on to your old harness of self again, feeling more assured, more whole and contained; Libra is a sign which really puts out for others, and can sometimes feel less than whole and assured just standing alone, yet this New Moon asks that you do stand alone, just for a minute, and feel the blunt strength of yourself, the depths of what you have to offer, and trust that everything is as it should be.
