Capricorn (Dec 22 - Jan 19)
Capricorn: This month, Capricorn, the personal planets begin to shift into Libra, into a vital house in your chart, the house of career. So September and October should be busy months for you, in which your drive, ambition, your desire to manifest is reaching a high-pitch, and you’ll have all the inner resources you need to carry through the effects you desire. Mars still lingers behind in Virgo, and a mental, observational house, and is ideal in September for doing as much research as you can, for immersing yourself in the worlds available to you, and learning much. Mars factors prominently into this tricky Full Moon on September 14thwhen the Moon will align with Neptune, the ruler of Pisces, at 21 degrees Pisces, directly opposing Mars, with Jupiter pulling this taut energy into a tight-corner, making the whole lot into a T-square, an especially driven, hard-put aspect. For you this highlights a part of your chart having to do with mental prowess, with Moon and Neptune dissolving your sensibilities on the subjective end. Now here you really have to be careful, though intuitions, gut knowledge, and depths of feeling are going to be heightened, it’s all exaggerated, pushed through the sieve of what you would like to see, and feel, and even suspectible to wavelengths from other times. Neptune is a very misunderstood planet, breaking down the barriers of self, breaking down the barriers of perception, of fields of time, everything; so that in a house that generally has to do with mental focus and awareness, with direct, blunt observation and mental dexterity, it’s incongruous, not unwelcome, but not typically appreciated, making one strange, detached, dream-like here. You’ll just not be able to focus as hard, and yet at the same time, Mars is pulling you to a place of blunt integration with people, of subjectively and plainly working yourself into a certain sphere or culture in life, and acting yourself, plain, transparent, desirous, yet there’s this inner backwards tug, like an undertow, of not being sure what you want your drive to achieve, of not fully knowing who you are in certain situations, yet getting drawn almost against your will, for something that might just be emotional compensation. Our motives here, with Mars opposite Neptune get very muddled, that’s the danger. Then Jupiter speaking from a house that has to do with your deeper unconscious, with repressed material and old material really suggests that the cleaning out of repressions, the letting go of fears, is the end-goal here. I’d say step forward, but do so with caution, as what you get out of your intentions this month will not be what you expect. Then finally there’s a very clear-cut, plainly oriented, aloof New Moon at 5 degrees Libra, falling in your house of career, on September 28th. This New Moon is great for setting your objectives straight, as well as being present, being aware, and open, that’s really all you have to do sometimes just to get ahead. Take care of yourself and show up.
