Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)

Aquarius: This month, Aquarius, the planets are fast-moving. It’s the time of Aries, explosion dance of the fire-child, for you embodying your mind for you are fierce, impulsive, and reactionary, even naïve sometimes in your lower mind—generally necessary for churning up water and breaking down walls. On April 11th there will be a New Moon at 22 degrees Aries in this house of the mind, completely firing up all the lower planets from Jupiter on down through Mercury, and thus engaging your body with your mind in the deepest way, totally lighting up your cerebral cortex and having you longing for celebration, communication, and participation. The caveat or very interesting part of this New Moon is that Pluto is totally at odds, or deeply pressurizing all the naturally joyous energy so that it becomes much more about dancing out the dust we’ve collected on ourselves and letting out too long repressed soul. Pluto is at the moment in your house of unconsciousness and a more apt placement I could not imagine. Your demons, maybe even life-long demons and negative complexes are leaking out now and seeing the light. It may be an alarming time for that reason, but you’re meant to dance them out, let them live, show them light and then their power over you will cease. Wake up and then stay awake is the ethos. Then on April 27th there will be a Full Moon in Scorpio which rules over your Midheaven, the highest point in your chart. You strive to be a revealer of the darkness to the light; the dancer of old tales who has spun them up new. You have an opportunity to greatly advance in your field on the 27th. Your ruler, Uranus, is challenging the Full Moon opposite in your house of soul, thus driving you ever deeper towards your radical purpose by peeling away all layers of parental constructs, for you need to be absolutely free to take on the path you want to take. Also Saturn is at odds with your Moon, now in your own sign, Aquarius, thus—you’re really being called here to not just break things to break them, throw out the old and spin forever free in chaos but to eventually create new customs, new traditions that’ll soothe, protect, and ground not only yourself but those who are privileged enough to know you.
