Tate Americas Foundation Artists Dinner and After Party

 

Sponsored by Dior, the evening raised more than $2 million for the Tate Americas Foundation and the acquisition of work by artists from the Americas for the Tate; the auction alone, conducted by Simon de Pury raised over $500,000.

The star-studded event was attended by many art and fashion world figures, including honorary co-chairs Glenda Bailey & Sarah Jessica Parker; co-chairs Estrellita Brodsky, Kira Flanzraich, Pamela Joyner, Amy Phelan, and Christen Wilson; celebrities  Anne Hathaway, Alexa Chung, Martha Stewart, Ciara, and Andy Cohen; more than 30 artist honorees including Marina Abramovic, Alex Katz, Richard Philips, Rirkrit Tiravanija, and Los Carpinteros, and art and fashion world luminaries.

Guests then danced the night away to a DJ set by artist Jim Lambie among Studio 54-inspired décor for the After Party. The After Party was co-chaired by Nailya Alexander, Cece Barfield, Sonya Bekkerman, Derek Blasberg, Kate & Alexander Brodsky, Katy Brodsky, Megan & Thomas Brodsky, Laura Brown, Kyle Hotchkiss Carone, Nell Diamond, Patrick Duffy,Victoria Gelfand, Emma Hall, Sarah Hoover, Mark Kelner, Gary Krimershmoys, Monica Manzutto & Jose Kuri, Olivia Marciano, Shayna McClelland, Lucy McIntyre, Kristina McLean, Karline Moeller, Tommy Rom, Charlotte Ronson, Danny Shea, Jo Stella-Sawicka, Dan Tanzilli, Cosi Theodoli-Braschi, and Christopher Wolf.
