NEW YORK, NY, JULY 22, 2013 -- ACRIA’s Cocktails at Sunset benefit was held on Saturday, July 20th, the annual fundraising event, a cocktail party and silent auction for 250 guests, was hosted by interior designer David Kleinberg at his East Hampton home and was followed by an intimate dinner for 100. The evening was presented by COACH. Guests including Ross Bleckner, Bob Colacello, Francisco Costa, Melissa George, Brad Goreski, Calvin Klein, Kelly Klein, Doug Lloyd, Helen & Tim Schifter, Sam Shahid, Stewart Shining, Jill Stuart, and Greg Unis enjoyed music by DJ Chelsea Leyland.
The event featured a silent auction of unique and limited limited edition works by leading artists such as Ross Bleckner, Jessica Craig-Martin, April Gornik, Eric Fischl, Jane Kaplowitz, Malcolm Morley, Vik Muniz, Xaviera Simmons, Billy Sullivan, Donald Sultan, and Rob Wynne. It also included a special COACH x James Nares special collaboration bag ACRIA is a leading research and education organization, working across New York City and State, nationally and internationally to help people with HIV and AIDS live longer, healthier lives.
ACRIA tests the newest HIV therapies; undertakes cutting-edge research to understand better who has HIV and how to best care for them; provides life-saving HIV health information to disadvantaged communities around the world; and strengthens communitybased AIDS groups across the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean through training and technical assistance.
