Keith Shuaib is a recent graduate of the International Class at the Neue Schule für Fotografie in Berlin.
These photographs are from an ongoing series, 'Kuwaiti Joy', made in the urban landscape of Kuwait.
'In photographing city life, I have the same preoccupation as many photographers - the ways we shape our environment, on the largest and smallest scales, collectively and individually, to tell ourselves stories about our lives, our values, about what we fear, and what we believe makes us happy. I'm always intrigued by the - sometimes veiled, sometimes explicit - theatricality of urban spaces.'
