Project: La casa no16 ( House no16 )

The project talks about memory, it has as a function to cohere and form identity, to give meaning to our existence, to unify the world and our life. All memory is full of gaps, so when we remember we are interpreting and creating a narration different from the original.

According to the French sociologist Maurice Hallbwachs, remembering is a re- construction of the past with the help of data borrowed from the present and also prepared by other reconstructions made in earlier times where the image of yesteryear has been altered.

Going back to the place where I spent part of my childhood awakens a series of sensations that I connect intuitively with the absence of my grandfather. The process leads me to explore the space and interact with the elements that I find in it, it invites me to reflect and helps me to interpret images that I believe are part of my past.
